Week 15 Blowout: 49ers vs Seahawks Free Pick

Should I play devil’s advocate and say the 49ers are going to upset this one?

….Nah, they’re doomed.

49ers vs Seahawks

You know when you see a favourite of -10 (-105) like the Seahawks (9-4) in this Sunday’s #SFvsSEA matchup, that it’s going to be a blowout.

(And 64% of bettors are nodding yes to this one.)

Playing at the dreaded CenturyLink Field, the 49ers (7-6) will attempt to break Seattle’s 7-0 ATS streak against them.

SF is probably still smarting from their 19-3 at home loss to the Seahawks in Week 13But they’re going to have to have to offload some of the pressure from their defense and get their scoring game in gear if San Fran wants any chance of winning.

Getting TDs is going to be a problem for them on Sunday as the Seahawks defense has never looked better, performing at a level worthy of SB Champs.

Seattle is going to attempt their usual dominance over Kaepernick, controlling him like a pawn on the field like they have in the past.

But here’s a few more reasons everyone’s expecting a Seattle dominance in this 49ers vs Seahawks game:

  • Seattle has won their last 3 games against Arizona, SD, and the offensively-charged Eagles for a total outscoring of 62-20.
  • They’re 13-2 in their last 15 divisional games at home.
  • The Seahawks are 13-2 in their last 15 December games.
  • They’re 2nd in NFC West only to Arizona, keeping the 49ers to 3rd
  • And did I mention they just beat SD 2 weeks ago?

On the other side of the field, San Francisco has been unravelling at the seams after having a brief moment of togetherness in the midseason.

I mean, after you lose 24-13 to the Raiders your confidence has got to be shattered.

With an average of 14.3 points per game over their last 6 contests, I don’t think that’s going to cut it for the 49ers against the best defensive line in the league.

At the end of it all, SF is just trying to save face at this point.

It’s the Seahawks who might be seeing the SuperBowl again this year.

These hated NFC West rivals have gone UNDER in 6 of their last 7 matchups, but 71% of bettors are seeing the 38 total for Sunday getting destroyed.
