NFL Preseason Day 2 Odds

Today we check the NFL preseason day 2 odds, and some of the results from Day 1 yesterday. Betting wise on the total, the only over went under and three out of four unnders went over. Here is a short recap of preseason day 1.

Falcons 23, Redskins 17. Falcons covered and went over the total
Eagles 17 Buccaneers 9. Eagles covered and went under the total.
Ravens 22 Panthers 19. Panthers lost and did not cover as favorites. Went over the total.
Patriots 24 Saints 22. Patriots covered and went over the total.
Jets 17 Jaguars 13. Jets covered and went under the total.
Broncso 22 Bears 0. Broncos covered and went under the total.

Preseason Day 2 Odds

For Friday, the NFL preseason shcedule has the following games:

Detroit at Pittsburgh

The Steelers are -3 favorites to the Lions with 60% of bettors agreeing. The total is set at 35 favoring the Under at 56%. Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown will sit out for the Steelers, and the Lions, won’t play their stars much either, so do not expect too much out of this one.

Miami at NY Giants

The Giants are -2.5 (-115) favorites with 55% of bettors agreeing. The total is set at 36.5 barely favoring the under with 51%. Ryan Nassib will start in Eli Manning’s place.

Minnesota at Cincinnati

The Bengals are -2 favorites but  51% of bettor money are favoring the Vikings. The total is set at 35 favoring the under with 54%. According to the Star Tribune 10 players from the Vikings did not make the trip: receiver Jarius Wright; cornerbacks Terence Newman, Melvin White and Marcus Sherels; running back Jhurell Pressley; linebackers Eric Kendricks, Edmond Robinson and Brandon Watts; and defensive linemen Sharrif Floyd and Scott Crichton.

Cleveland at Green Bay

The Packers are only -1 (-105) favorites with 52% of bettors agreeing. The total is set at 34.5 favoring the under with 59%. Robert Griffin III will be the Brown’s QB in the preseason opener against GB young players. Aaron Rodgers and the starters might get on the field, but any appearance will be brief.

Oakland at Arizona

The Cardinals are -3 (+100) favorites with 60% of bettors agreeing. The total is set at 38 currently the over/under is 50/50. The Cardinals should make this game an easy one.
