Ravens vs Dolphins Week 14 Free Pick

The Ravens are still smarting from their last minute loss to the Chargers, but let’s see if they can take out some of that rage on Miami.

Ravens vs Dolphins

The Dolphins are a fan favourite for the playoffs, and at 7-5 their chances are lookin’ good.

(They’re in the No. 6 Seed in the AFC and tied with 5 other teams right now in a dog fight for the last spot.)

But the Ravens are still strong playoff hopefuls too, tying Miami’s record of 7-5 and coming in at 2nd in AFC North.

The Dolphins are one of the biggest challenges left for Baltimore in these last weeks of the regular season, and a win here would be amazing for their confidence going forward.

The bettors seem to be with them since 83% of them are taking the Ravens despite Miami being the -3 (+100) favourite.

At this point in the season any loss can make or break a team, but this matchup is going to be especially important for Miami to win.

They’re up against the Pats in Week 15, and even though the Dolphins took them down way back in Week 1, Brady and his cohort have been frighteningly good ever since (shocking, I know).

If Miami can win against the Ravens, Vikings, and Jets in their upcoming contests, then budgeting a loss to NE might not hurt the Dolphins too badly.

The Ravens on the other hand are going to have to amp up their defense to keep Tannehill and the rest of Miami’s offense under control. That’s been an issue for them lately, having given up a whopping 965 yards in their last two contests alone.

And it’s going to be harder for Baltimore to accomplish now that their defensive tackle Haloti Ngata has been suspended for the rest of the season.

Rookie Timmy Jernigan has been moved up to the Ravens starting defensive line, and all eyes are going to be on him to fill Ngata’s big shoes.

The O/U is at 45 for #BALvsMIA with 45% of bettors going for the Under.
