Why Bet on Anthony Joshua

AJ lost his WBA, IBF, and WBO belts to Oleksandr Usyk in September 2021 and failed to gain revenge in last August’s rematch, leaving him at a crossroads here.

Joshua won 24 of his first 25 fights, including an epic 11th-round stoppage of Wladimir Klitschko, but couldn’t cope with Usyk’s superior skill and speed.

Both of their bouts went the full distance, but AJ could have no arguments with the Ukrainian getting the decision each time.

However, the 33-year-old remains in the mix for some major pay-days if safely negotiate this comeback fight.

Why Bet on Jermaine Franklin?

Franklin rattled off 21 consecutive victories at a lower level before being pitched against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Arena in November.

Joshua was at ringside for that bout and saw the American have some success in the early stages before Whyte got on top in the middle rounds.

However, Franklin showed great durability and kept plugging away and many thought he was unlucky to be on the wrong end of a majority decision.

Franklin feels like he can only win this fight via knockout since the British boxer is such a massive star and the American is looking to silence the crowd by way of turning out AJ’s lights.

Final Betting Analysis – Anthony Joshua vs. Jermaine Franklin

Joshua and Franklin both come into this bout on the back of defeats. The former champion lost to Oleksandr Usyk in the rematch, while Franklin lost to Dillian Whyte back in November.

Therefore, both Joshua and Franklin will look to get their records back on track this weekend.

This prizefight is slated for twelve rounds but we do not see this one going to the judges’ scorecards.

Our pick is on Joshua winning via KO or TKO, as he makes his way back to the top.

Go for a win for Anthony Joshua at -1250. If bet $100 at a win for the English you could get $8 for a total payout of $108.
