Why Bet on Janikbek Alimkhanuly?

A 2013 World and Asian Championships gold medalist, Alimkhanuly turned pro in 2016. In May, he beat Danny Dignam via knockout to win the interim WBO title. He was on track to fight Demetrius Andrade for the regular title; however, Andrade vacated the belt to move to a new division.

In his last fight in November, Alimkhanuly, now promoted, beat Denzel Bentley to retain the title.

Ready to prove he’s a truly unstoppable force, Janibek Alimkhanuly will defend the WBO middleweight title against Steven Butler.

Why Bet on Steven Butler?

Butler turned pro in 2014. The Canadian is a multi-time title contender, losing against Ryota Murata in 2019 for the WBA middleweight title.

Following that bout, he has gone 4-1 and is on a four-fight win streak.

The 27-year-old NABF middleweight champion last fought in December, beating Joshua Conley via unanimous decision.

Final Betting Analysis – Janikbek Alimkhanuly vs. Steven Butler

Alimkhanuly hasn’t been a pro for long but has plenty of amateur experience and appears to be a solid boxer in all areas.

Butler has power but a suspect chin. He has a reach advantage but isn’t on the same level as Alimkhanuly at this point in their careers.

We expect Alimkhanuly to leave the ring with his undefeated record intact with another victory, and the odds showcase just how big of a favorite he is.

Our pick is placed on Alimkhanury to finish the fight in under 8 rounds.

Go for a win for Alimkhanuly at -2500. If you bet $100 at such odds you could get $4.00 for a total payout of $104.
