Born in San Mateo Atenco, he turned pro in 2015. William Zepeda primarily fought in Mexico, competing in U.S. events from 2020 onwards. “Camaron” has impressed over time, beating the likes of Joseph Diaz and Jaime Arboleda.

Gesta pulled off a bit of an upset against Diaz but we don’t think he’s got enough pop in his punches to keep Zepeda off of him for 12 rounds.
The Filipino likes to cut off the ring and overwhelm his opponents, using speed and power to outwork them. In that respect, he is the perfect test for the Mexican.
In the end, Zepeda is a relentless puncher who just keeps throwing leather and we think he’ll be too aggressive and powerful for Gesta come Saturday night and a stoppage is the most likely scenario. We believe a KO within the first five rounds is the best bet.
