Week 1 of the NFL has already ended, and we take for granted that a new season of one of the most exciting sports in the world, American Football, in the United States, is underway. So we expect weeks full of games of the highest level between teams seeking to be the new champions in the next Super Bowl.

Each team has already played its first game, some of them leaving good sensations, while others showed where they have weaknesses and will have to solve them as soon as possible to fight to be in the postseason.

The Los Angeles Rams began their title defense after winning Super Bowl LVI against the Bengals with a score of 23-20, but they did not start in the best possible way, as they were defeated by one of the favorites this season, the Buffalo Bills.

The Browns had not won a Week 1 game since 2004 and this season they have started very well with a great victory against the PanthersThe Steelers suffered too much to beat the BengalsThe Titans were surprisingly defeated by the Giants, and the Jaguars were unable to beat Washington.

Within what we saw in week 1, two teams seem to have started a step ahead of the rest, the Bills and Chiefs. Curtis Samuel returned after a year of injury, Jahan Dotson was added as part of the Draft, and both turned out to be great additions for the Commanders.

The Dolphins are an intriguing team for this season, and their win over the Patriots raises even more questions. The way the Lions put up a fight against Philadelphia, one of the top contenders in the NFC, leaves the feeling that they will be an extremely fun team to watch.

The Buffalo Bills certainly look like the favorites to win the Super Bowl. In the regular season opener, Sean McDermott’s team crushed the defending champion 31-10 at SoFi Stadium.

Despite the tied score going into halftime, this was a game largely dominated by Buffalo, and only self-inflicted injuries prevented them from taking a big lead from the first half.

Once they corrected their mistakes in the second half, that’s when they went into lightning speed, ending the game on a 21-point run with no response from the home side.

The Bills’ offense racked up 413 yards of offense and did not clear a single time in the showdown. The defense, particularly the pass-pressure defense, also looked good as they were able to get after Matthew Stafford all night and make 7 catches.

Result: Rams (10) – (31) Bills

NFL Week 1 – Roundup – Bears vs. 49ers – Info

When: Sunday, September 11 at 01:00 pm ET

The Chicago Bears hosted the San Francisco 49ers at Soldier Field, who are expected to be contenders to fight it out in the National Conference after falling just short of their second Super Bowl appearance in three years during the past playoffs.

After a slow start, quarterback Justin Fields threw a pair of second-half touchdown passes to Dante Pettis and Equanimeous St. Brown, and a late-quarter interception of deep Eddie Jackson set up a Khalil Herbert ground touchdown.

Everything that could go wrong for the 49ers happened in their season opener in Chicago. They were up by 10 points at halftime, but the Bears scored 19 consecutive points and completely decimated the San Francisco defense, also chocking the life out of their offense in the second half to take the upset victory by a score of 19-10.

Result: Bears (19) – (10) 49ers

Another of the surprises of this NFL Sunday was the defeat of the Cincinnati Bengals in a game that seemed to be comfortable for them, against the Pittsburgh Steelers, with a score of 20-23.

Undoubtedly, this was the most exciting game of Sunday. The Steelers’ defense completely manhandled Joe Burrow, the Bengals’ quarterback, with 7 catches and 4 interceptions, which led the Steelers to victory.

The AFC Champions, Cincinnati Bengals, rallied from an 11-point first-half deficit to pull even at 20-20 at the end of the fourth quarter and send the game into overtime.

In those last 15 minutes, the drama was heightened by missed field goals by Evan McPherson for the Bengals and Chris Boswell for the Steelers. In the end, Boswell settled the contest with a 53-yard kick that gave them the 23-20 win.
