There are basically three games to watch in our college football week 3 preview, specially because they are tight on spreads and an upset would change the AP rankings drastically:
- No. 1 Alabama at No. 19 Mississippi
- No. 2 Florida State at No. 10 Louisville
- No. 3 Ohio State at No. 14 Oklahoma and
College Football Week 3 Preview
No. 1 Alabama at No. 19 Mississippi
Ole Miss has defeated Bama twice in a row. Last time it was last year’s 43-37 loss at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Alabama will want to change that, and maybe they will but at -11 points, on the betting side, I don’t think so. Straight up they will probably win, but if you are laying money on the game go for Ole Miss.
A look at 2015…
No. 2 Florida State at No. 10 Louisville
Do not be tempted by the rankings, specially on this matchup. Expert bookies have placed FSU on this game as a -3 point favorite. FSU lost their best player Derwin James, and Louisville has QB Lamar Jackson. Louisville has nto yet been tested as they will be in this game. Still on this college football week 3 preview we think they can pull an upset.
No. 3 Ohio State at No. 14 Oklahoma
This game can destroy Oklahoma’s chances at a national title even before conference playing even begins. Ohio State needs this a road win against Oklahoma, to prove they are worth of their ranking. The spread is at -1 favoring the Buckeyes, which shows the perception on a possible upset by linemakers.
