PRINCETON — Gibson County has long embraced disc golf, which is evident with the development of four courses across the county, and now, according to local director Steven Waites, the hard work has paid off.

Waites told the Gibson County Tourism Board Thursday that the main goal has always been to elevate the annual Gibson County Challenge in level, and a jump to an “A” tier event is just what the group was looking for.
