NFL Playoff Divisional Round Saturday Picks, Prognostications and Predictions

The 2019 NFL Divisional Round is promising to be a good one in 2019. We’ve got 4 matchups this Saturday and Sunday, because we Love ya, we’re going to break down each one of these games with the best picks and predictions on the interwebs.

Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs

Saturday, January 12 at 4:35pm at Arrowhead Stadium on NBC

The Colts are hot. The Chiefs are hotter. MyBookie has the Chiefs as 5 point favorites and I’m on board with that line.

Sure, the Colts defense is hot, but let’s keep it real. The Texans didn’t even show up last week in their Wildcard matchup. Even on the best of days Indy is going to have a hard time containing the Chiefs explosive offense led by Patrick Mahomes.

If the Colts stand a chance they’re going to have contain Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelsee. No small task.

I’m taking the Chiefs on the Moneyline -220 and the Spread at +5. If you’re feeling brave and thinking this is going to be a shoot out, then grab the Over at 55 points (all 3 are strong picks).

Remember how I said the Colts would have to contain Tyreek Hill.

That hasn’t happened yet.

Going exactly as predicted.

Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams

Saturday, January 12 at 8:15pm at Los Angeles Coliseum Watch on FOX.

One word: Rams.

I know bettors and fans alike love jumping on the Dallas Cowboys bandwagon.

At best the 10-6 Cowboys are streaky.

Dak Prescott is inconsistent. Yeah, Ezekiel Elliot is a beast but the 13-3 Rams are a much more balanced team, with more weapons.

Simply looking at the regular season records of these two teams and the fact that the Rams are at home make this one a pretty straight forward pick IMHO.

Taking the Rams to cover that -7 on the Spread. At -305 I’m taking a pass on the Moneyline, not enough potential profit for the investment there. If you’re into playing Totals then grab the Over at 48.5.

What do you think?
