NFL Week 8 Top 10 Team Power Index

What a difference a week makes. The Patriots have rocketed back near the top, while the Falcons are not barely hanging on to the list. What a crazy week. Meanwhile, the Chiefs finally relinquished the top spot. But this list is all about celebrating the Eagles. Fly birds, fly!

NFL Week 8 Power Index 2017

1- (2) Philadelphia Eagles – Now this is a team on a roll. A pressure defense and a quarterback that’s even drawing up his own plays for the offensive coordinator!

2- (1) Kansas City Chiefs – That’s two losses in a row. Both were competitive games and so we can’t completely dismiss them as having slipped all that far. Yet.

3- (4) Seattle Seahawks – A predictable rise. This Hawks team is looking like they did a couple of years ago.

4- (5) Pittsburgh Steelers – Pittsburgh is playing Steelers football right. Straight ahead and with swagger. That fake punt versus Cincy might be a turning point.

5- (7) New England Patriots – Another week and another couple of rungs climbed up the ladder. The defending champs look like they’ve plugged those holes on D.

6- (8) Los Angeles Rams – Goff is for real and the Rams are rolling. But let’s see them do it against a true powerhouse team above them on this list. It does feel like they’re close, though.

7- (9) Buffalo Bills – A sound football team that is starting to play with consistency and expectations. They’re here to stay on this list. Looking forward to seeing them match up with the Pats.

8- (10) Minnesota Vikings – A gutsy, well-coached team that continues to find a way each week.

9- (NR) New Orleans Saints – Did anyone see this defense coming? I don’t even think they did. Wow.

10- (3) Atlanta Falcons – There’s too much talent and returning players on this roster for them to be this bad. They have to turn it around, don’t they?

Honorable Mentions: Miami Dolphins (Anyone understand how they’re doing it? I don’t), Tennessee Titans (Another week and another unimpressive win), Jacksonville Jaguars (Hey, they won without Leonard Fournette, they deserve to be mentioned).
