2016 NFL Changes Two Months Before Football Season

With only two months before Football Season 2016 NFL changes might impact on the odds and betting perspective in various teams.

Charles “Peanut” Tillman is retiring.

Justin Durant is rejoining Dallas Cowboys (another Durant changing teams as Kevin Durant is joining the Golden State Warriors in the NBA).

Arian Foster signed with the Miami Dolphins. Hence oddsmakers are looking at the possible impact.

2016 NFL Changes

 Charles Tillman

Tillman announced his retirement from the NFL today, tweeting the news, and surprising many. With 13 seasons (12 as a Bear and 1 as a Panther), two Pro Bowls and one Walter Payton Man of the Year award he has decided to hang his cleats (see video below for reference).

“I’ve had 13 amazing years on two great teams and I’m just thankful for the love and support that I got from my teammates, the fans and my coaches,” Tillman told ChicagoBears.com. “I’m thankful to everyone who has helped me get to where I am right now because I definitely didn’t do it by myself.”

Great video of Peanut Tillman about retiring and his patented “Peanut Punch” that he used to strip opponents of the ball.

Justin Durant

Linebacker Justin Durant plans to help the Cowboys defense deal with Rolando McClain’s suspension of 10 games for drug-policy violation. He played at Dallas in 2013 and 2014 before playing last season in Atlanta.

Arian Foster

And the last of the 2016 NFL changes reported today is former Houston Texan and four-time Pro Bowler Arian Foster signing with the Dolphins for one year. Eventhough it seems like a payback for having  Lamar Miller, Miami’s leading rusher last season, signing with the Texans, Foster said in a conference call: “They’re a young team, a hungry team,” Foster said after the Dolphins officially announced the signing. “[They have] a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. I think they have the right head coach, and the right people in the front office. They’re all committed to winning there.”
