Patriots vs Chargers Week 14 Free Pick

Expect a playoff position dog fight from these historic rivals. The Pats and Chargers never fail to give it their all when they battle it out in San Diego.

Patriots vs Chargers

Qualcomm Stadium has hosted New England 3 times in the last 7 years, always giving fans plenty of excitement and intensely close scores.

And you can bet it’ll happen again in Week 14.

With New England #1 in AFC East and San Diego #2 in AFC West, there’s going to be blood, sweat, and tears on Sunday as both teams try to maintain their position and keep the playoffs in their sights.

The 9-3 Pats had the best record in the AFC until Denver came along. But New England will have to put their skills to the test in the last 4 games of their season with no easy wins in sight.

I’m not going to give them too much sympathy though, since San Diego has the toughest last four games of any team in the league: Patriots, Broncos, 49ers, and Chiefs – good effin’ luck.

In terms of the #NEvsSD matchup, the Chargers (8-4) are going to have to focus on keeping up their offensive game if they want to live through this one – ya hear that Rivers?

They were averaging about 23 points per game until their last sprint of back-to-back triumphs brought them up closer to the 30 point mark.

NE Cornerback’s Revis and Browner will be trying to keep SD under control, while Brady shows us all why the Patriots are in the top 3 for scoring in the league.

New England is the -3.5 favourite against SD with 80% of bettors on their side.

The majority would probably be higher if everyone didn’t hate them and secretly want the Chargers to take it. (#SorryNotSorry NE fans!)

Although maybe not everyone wants to see an SD victory since things are getting crowded at the top of the AFC West division race.

The O/U for this match is 51 with 92% on the OVER – a fairly safe bet with Rivers and Brady on the field.

Our pick:

Take the OVER
