Selection Corner – Week 10 NFL Picks

Oh yeah, we were 4-0 last week, baby! Ride the wave and get on board, because we’re locked in and ready for Week 10’s game. Here are four football picks to consider when betting on the NFL this week.

2017 Week 10 NFL Picks

Minnesota (-1.5) at Washington Redskins

D.C. is coming off an impressive win in Seattle. They played the game without Jordan Reed and Jamison Crowder. But it was the defense that stepped up and got it done. While I generally don’t like to bet on teams that are coming off a cross country flight facing a team that is coming off a bye week, I can’t ignore the defensive performance Washington put up in Seattle. The clock will strike midnight Kase Keenum. Take Washington and the home dog.

New Orleans Saints (-2) at Buffalo Bills

The Saints are where they are because of a surprisingly consistent defense. But they’re not going to end up 14-2 on the season. The Bills are coming off a shocking loss Thursday night to the Jets, so they are embarrassed and more rested than their visiting opponents. Buffalo is a solid team and is the more desperate team in this matchup. I like the home dog here once again. Take Buffalo.

Houston Texans at Los Angeles Rams (-12)

Let’s see, the Rams are firing on all cylinders and playing really well. The Texans have battled flooding, injuries to their top two defensive players and now their best offensive player in Deshaun Watson. Tom Savage is awful and t he Texans will be as well in this matchup. It’ll be over early. Take the Rams and lay the points.

New England Patriots (-7.5) at Denver Broncos

Last week was a sad sight. After the Broncos defense had been so good despite the team’s terrible recent offensive performances, they simply folded in Philadelphia. Hope and focus have got to be at an all-time low for this once elite defensive unit. Meanwhile, the Pats are coming off a bye and Tom Brady has a chance to pick on a team that usually gets the best of him in Denver. Take the Patriots and lay the big spread. They’re playing much better on defense themselves.

Last Week: 4-0
Season: 20-16
