Selection Corner: Week 12 NFL Picks

Now that we’re all full of turkey and still trying to shake off that sleepy feeling, it’s time to wake up and get ready for more NFL betting. There are some interesting games on the board for football picks enthusiasts. All of my picks are road team picks. Why? I go where the spreads take me, folks. Here we go.

2017 Week 12 NFL Picks

Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs (-10)

How in the world is this spread so high? Sure, the Bills are not playing great right now. But neither are the Chiefs. Buffalo will probably re-insert Tyrod Taylor at QB and KC will have to better respect the run. I don’t see how the Chiefs can blow anyone away right now. Give me the nice amount of points and the Bills.

Carolina Panthers (-4.5) at New York Jets

Yes, the Jets have played some quality opponents tightly this season. They snuck up on a couple of squads. But they’re not a surprise to anyone anymore and this is the time of the year when the contenders step on the gas. Carolina is on a roll and I love that this spread is only one possession. Lay the points and take Carolina.

Seattle (-6.5) at San Francisco 49ers

The Niners have been an underdog spread darling this season, covering a ton of games, especially early on. But Seattle is desperate and they need this game. The Niners got their one win out of the way. It’s another one possession spread with a good team needing a win. Lay the points  and take the Hawks.

New Orleans Saints at Los Angeles Rams (-2.5)

The Rams are coming off a tough road loss to the Vikings, while the Saints gutted out an overtime win over D.C. We all know that L.A. doesn’t really have a great homefield, and last week’s performance by Jared Goff might be a blueprint for the steady Saints D to follow. I like New Orleans here. Give me the more experienced Drew Brees and the versatile Saints to keep it rolling.

Last Week: 1-2-1

Season: 23-20-1
