First the Cardinals, then the 49ers; will the Eagles be the next team to fall to last year’s Super Bowl champs?
The expectations were high at the beginning of the season for the Seahawks, and slowly yet surely, they’ve clawed their way back up to one of the top defense spots in the league.
Seattle (8-4) has only allowed 6 points in their last two contests and are still a top contender for the NFC West title.
If their momentum keeps building, we could definitely see some Seahawks action in Super Bowl XLIX.
“We’re looking really good. We’re playing together as a unit, we trust in each other. We’re on the rise.” – Seahawks Linebacker T. Wright
The Eagles (9-3) are 1st in the NFC East and trying to put as much space between them and their epic 33 point GB loss as possible.
Philly’s offense has been extremely consistent, despite starting two different QB’s this season. They’re 4th in the league for points per game (31.3) right now, and if they expect to win on Sunday they better bring that offensive heat.
But both these teams should be feelin’ pretty good coming into Lincoln off their strong wins in Week 13.
Especially the Eagles after they took down Dallas by 23 points as the underdog.
Philly may be the favourite over Seattle coming in at -1.5, but 68% of bettors are still saying this match is going to the Seahawks.
The running backs and a few other key players are going to make or break it for both teams; with this much talent on the field this close to the playoffs, you have to put it all out there or go home.
The O/U is 48.5 with 67% betting on the UNDER.
