Football betting players know that you learn more from a loss than you do from a win. And that’s what we saw in Week 8 NFL action. The difference between two teams with the same record can be substantial after 60 minutes. We saw that in the Dallas-Washington game, and we saw it elsewhere as well.
2017 NFL Week 8 Betting Recap
-The Dolphins are a team without a quarterback. You can’t trust them. Period. But just because Baltimore won doesn’t mean you can rely on them either. Can Joe Flacco put up good stats two weeks in a row?
-The Vikings are gaining confidence and Case Keenum is becoming respectable. They’re good enough to win an Aaron Rodgers-less division, but not by much.
-The Bills are a contender. There I’ve said it. Meanwhile, the Raiders have too many defensive holes to even finish .500, it seems.
-The Bengals are a decent money line play at home, but you can’t trust them as a football betting favorite right now. They’re fighting injuries and confidence.
-The Pats are in cruise control. They stopped a streaky Chargers team and now get a week off to rest. Be wary, NFL.
-The Saints at home are money. Don’t bet against them in the Superdome, especially now with a decent D. The Bears have proven to be tough, though. Look for them to bounce back.
-The Eagles are the class of the league right now. Pure and simple. Don’t bet against them.
-The Panthers had a blimp on the radar but look to back in control of their season. It also coincides with the return of Luke Kuechly.
-Seattle is a great team. But Deshaun Watson nearly beat them all by himself. Wow. Take the over on all Houston games.
-Dallas has their offensive line playing like 2016 and linebacker Sean Lee is back in the lineup. A combo that could lead to a big winning streak now.
-The Steelers notched a solid road win and introduced the world to Juju Smith-Schuster. This Pitt attack just got more lethal.
